Situation untenable for Russia – Ukraine to take Kherson!

According to a report released on Thursday by the British Defense Ministry, Ukraine’s counteroffensive is gaining momentum and the Russian-occupied city of Kherson is practically cut off from the other regions held by Russia.

According to the assessment, Ukraine has utilized its new long-range artillery to destroy at least three of the Dnipro River bridges that Russia depends on to feed the territories under its control.

The report stated that “Russia’s 49th Army is stationed on the west bank of the Dnipro River and currently seems dangerously vulnerable.”

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared, “We won’t stop until we liberate the last meter of our Ukrainian country. “Until our last community is freed, we won’t stop working.”

Ukraine said on Thursday its planes had struck five Russian strongholds around the city of Kherson and another nearby city.

A British military intelligence agency backing Ukraine said Ukrainian forces likely set up a beachhead south of a river that runs along the region’s northern border. “The Ukrainian counteroffensive in Kherson is gaining momentum,” it said in a statement.

Ukraine says it has recaptured several small settlements on the northern edge of the region in recent weeks to push back Russian forces. This is a potential precursor to what the Kyiv described as a major counterattack to retake the south.
