Three killed, over 200 injured in Japan earthquake

In Japan, at least three persons have died and more than 200 others were injured after a powerful earthquake shook the coastal city of Osaka this morning.

The 6.1 magnitude earthquake hit at a depth of 13 kilometers.

Officials said, dozens have fled to evacuation centers set up across the city. More than one lakh households are without power in Osaka prefecture and neighbouring Hyogo prefecture.

Country’s Meteorological Agency has warned of another big quake in the next few days.
