Nepal PM K P Sharma Oli to embark on 6 day official visit to China from next week

Prime Minister of Nepal K P Sharma Oli will embark on a six day official visit to China from next week. According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal, Mr Oli will visit northern neighbour from June 19 at the invitation of his counterpart Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China. During the visit Prime Minister Oli will hold delegation level talks with Mr. Li Keqiang.

He will also meet senior Chinese leaders. Mr. Oli will address Nepal-China Business Forum and think tanks in Beijing. During the visit some agreements and memorandum of understandings will also be signed between the two countries.

Mr. Oli will also visit Lhasa, the capital of Tibet Autonomous Region of China and meet provincial leaders. Nepalese Prime Minister will be accompanied by his wife Mrs. Radhika Shakya and a high level delegation. Mr. Oli will return to Kathmandu on June 24. This will be Mr. Oli’s first visit to China after assuming the office of Prime Minister in February this year.
