In Bangladesh, at least ten people were today killed and several missing as landslides triggered by torrential rains swept away houses in Rangamati’s Naniarchar area.
Four of the 10 deceased belonged to one family. Officials said, it will take some time to get the exact information about the number of deaths or those missing as the rescue teams could not reach the affected areas due to landslides.
On this day a year ago, landslides struck the same district killing more than 100 people.
