In Afghanistan, at least 12 people were killed and 31 wounded when a suicide attacker blew himself up outside a government ministry in Kabul today, officials said, as employees were leaving their offices early for Ramadan.
Health ministry spokesman Waheed Majroh gave the latest toll for the attack at the main gate of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development.
Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing. The group’s AMAQ news agency today said the group did not provide evidence for its claim.
