In Afghanistan, a suicide bomber detonated his explosives laden vehicle near an army base today causing many casualties.
Officials said, the attack in Nad Ali district of Helmand province killed at least two Afghan soldiers and wounded several. But, a security official said that eight Afghan soldiers were killed and nearly a dozen more injured. Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.
