In Sri Lanka, at least 21 people have been killed and more than 1 lakh 50,000 affected due to floods.
Two persons are missing and at least 10 injured. Army and Navy continue their rescue and relief operations across the affected districts. The country’s MeT department has forecast more rain in the south-western part.
