In Afghanistan, at least 16 people including four security personnel were killed and 38 others injured today when a minivan packed with explosives detonated as security forces were trying to defuse it in Kandahar. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
Earlier, 14 police officers were killed in attacks which started last night in Ghazni province. Taliban has claimed the responsibility for these attacks.
