A strong six point two magnitude earthquake shook the South American nation of Chile today.
Preliminary reports say, there is no tsunami alert and no reports of injuries. The US Geological Survey also reported the quake as measuring 6.2.
Chile’s National Seismological Center said the quake struck 35 kilometres north of Punitaqui at a depth of 75.8 kilometres.
