While geeking out over next week’s solar eclipse, some Science producers noticed something strange: Astronomy terms describing obscure aspects of the event sounded a lot like … creatures from Pokémon. Since the annual Otakon Japanese culture convention was going on right down the street in Washington, D.C., we wandered over to see if any self-proclaimed otaku could tell them apart. Umbreon and Antumbra? Yveltal and Syzygy? Can you figure out the difference?
