5:02 pm IST: Dropped! Prithvi Shaw drops Samit Gohil in the first ball of the Gujarat innings. Shardul’s furious! This will be the only over of the day and this could have been a big wicket! Gujarat 2/0

4:40 pm IST: The new ball’s available but Parthiv hasn’t taken it yet. Abhishek Nayar has finally come out of his shell and is looking to go for those big shots. He’s on 28 from 84 deliveries. Mumbai 219/9 after 82 overs.

4:32pm IST: Meanwhile, Ambati Rayudu has scored a 100 and Yuvraj Singh has scored a 50 in the warm-up match against England XI at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Catch live cricket score.

4:20 pm IST: Rujul strikes again! Second wicket in his second over. Shardul Thakur edges one to Bhargav Merai in the slips. Mumbai 204/8 after 76.3 overs.

3:31 pm IST: Rush Kalaria has been brought back into the attack replacing Chintan Gaja. Mumbai 191/6 after 66 overs.

2:48 pm IST: Horrific decision from umpire Anil Chaudhary. Siddhesh Lad swings his bat to a short one from RP Singh. It goes down the leg side and there’s no connection at all. There’s a huge appeal from Parthiv and RP Singh and the umpire takes some time before he raises his finger. It’s tea and Lad shakes his head back as he heads back to the pavilion. Mumbai 179/6 after 59.3 overs.

2:43 pm IST: Mumbai lose one more wicket just before tea.

2:28 pm IST: Chintan Gaja breaks the gritty resistance! He had been brought back into the attack replacing Hardik Patel and he removes the dangerous Suryakumar Yadav (57 off 133 balls). A poor shot from Suryakumar and he gifts a catch to Hardik Patel at mid-off. Mumbai 169/5 after 56.3 overs.

1:57 pm IST: Suryakumar Yadav reaches his half-century but he’s been extremely lucky. The second ball of the over swung back in to hit his pads and with him not offering a shot, it looked to be hitting the stumps. The entire Gujarat team went up for the appeal but in vain. Off the last ball of the overs he picks a boundary to reach his fifty. Mumbai 154-4 after 48 overs.

1:43 pm IST: It’s drinks. RP has kept one end very tight for his captain. Mumbai 145/4 after 46 overs. Suryakumar 41 (100 deliveries), Siddhesh Lad 6 (20 balls)

1:35 pm IST: Dropped! Suryakumar Yadav is now put down by RP Singh. It was the first ball of the over and had been hit straight back at the bowler who didn’t seem to anticipate that.
