WATCH: Laziest run out ever? Dwayne Smith makes a mockery of himself with THIS slothy effort

New Delhi: It’s a dead tie, but there was pride at stake. And when it comes to pride, there’s lot to fight for.

On Wednesday, however, the Gujarat Lions opener Dwayne Smith produced a slothy effort while taking a single against the visiting Delhi Daredevils in their Indian Premier League match at Kanpur.

In the fourth over, Smith played the first ball, bowled by Mohammed Shami, to backward square leg, and responded to Ishan Kishan’s call.

But what transpired was a scene of utter farce with Smith getting run out by miles, though, he could have easily made the run.

He reacted bit slow, then was just not quick enough. He didn’t even a dive.

Put into bat by Zaheer Khan, the hosts lost three quick wickets early in the innings, and were struggling to score runs in the inconsequential match.
