Royal Challengers Bangalore, last year’s IPL finalist, are out of the reckoning. They have five points after 11 matches — a team plays 14 till the last-four stage — and Virat Kohli’s team has been the biggest disappointment of the IPL 2017.

Mumbai Indians, the team in good form, need just one win to make the last-four stage. More wins will place them in a better position in the playoffs. MI have won the IPL twice and Rohit Sharma’s team looks good for a third.
