New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli, who has missed all the three matches played by his team so far in the tournament, is now eyeing a comeback in the squad.

Kohli, who suffered a shoulder injury in the recently concluded four-match Test series against Australia, was ruled out of RCB’s first three matches as Australian all-rounder Shane Watson led the squad in his absence.

But much to the delight of his fans, Kohli posted a video on his Instagram account where he can be seen lifting weights with ease.

Along with the video, Kohli also posted a message that read, “Can’t wait to get back onto the field. Almost there now. 14th April.”

He was seen doing a weightlifting clean and jerk drill. The effortlessly that he was seen lifting weights is an indicator that he is slowly and surely regaining full strength in his shoulders.

RCB will take on Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians in a high-voltage match and it looks like he is now all set to be back in the team.

Kohli injured his shoulder while fielding during the third Test against Australia at Ranchi. He subsequently missed the fourth Test in Dharamsala.

Meanwhile, injury-hit RCB have made a poor start to the tournament where they have won just one out of the three matches they have played so far.
