New Delhi: After being stumped by Rising Pune Supergiant’s MS Dhoni a few days back, Kevin Pietersen was seen getting the second round of his ‘on mic’ conversation with Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Chris Gayle.
While Bill Stanlake was bowling his first over, Pietersen started off the conversation with Gayle asking him about his Instagram activity and family.
Pietersen: It’s coming and you know it has got nothing to do with cricket. I can see that smile. Look at you acting cool. Your Instagram is very colourful. Why is not colourful at the moment? Is the family in the town?

Gayle: Yes the family is in town. So, you got to keep it pretty. You got to keep it neat. (Laughs)
RCB started the match batting first and Gayle was dismissed off a waist high full-toss. As the big West Indian tried to hit the the ball, it went up in the air and was caught. And Pietersen was bang on to tease Gayle on the manner of his dismissal.
Pietersen: Full-tosses are very dangerous ball aren’t they Chris?
Gayle: I’m telling you. Tell me about it. It’s like a fruit. Eyes open up and you missed it.
Talking about Stanlake, Gayle said he is a very strong fellow. Youngster, all the way from Queensland. Very interesting player!
Pietersen: Have you faced him in the nets or you haven’t faced anything above 125kmph?
Gayle: Yeah. I faced him in a practice game. A bit nippy but you need to put the youngsters in their place. (Laughs).
Earlier, RPS’ Manoj Tiwary at first slip, who was on microphone chatting with Pietersen when the former England captain said: “Manoj just tell MS that I am a better golfer than him.”
Manoj was seen duly conveying the message to Dhoni after a delivery. “Pietersen kah raha hain woh aapse accha golfer hain (he is saying he is a better golfer than you).”
Dhoni leaned towards the microphone connected with Manoj and replied with a straight face: “But you are still my only Test wicket!” Pietersen was seen laughing.
