PV Sindhu's maiden India Open superseries badminton win – a statistical review

Pusarla Venkata Sindhu became the second Indian after Saina Nehwal to win women’s singles title in India Open Superseries badminton by beating top seed Spain’s Carolina Marín 21-19, 21-16 in the final at the Siri Fort Sports Complex, New Delhi on Sunday (April 2). (IPL 2017 – Full coverage)

Saina Nehwal won the 2015 title by beating Thailand’s Ratchanok Intanon 21-16, 21-14. She beat Malaysian Wong Mew Choo 20–22, 21–14, 21–12 in 2010 to win this title for the first time.
