Australia have their noses slightly ahead in the Bangalore Test against India after fifties from Matt Renshaw and Shaun Marsh helped them take a 48-run lead at the end of day 2. With the pitch keeping low and with batting expected to become more difficult as the game progresses, Virat Kohli’s team face an uphill task.

Matthew Wade and Mitchell Starc will be aiming to take the lead past 100 on day 3 while for India, they will be hoping that Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin take the remaining four wickets quickly and restrict the lead to under 100.

Will India show a marked improvement in their batting or will Australia run away with the game and taken an unassailable lead?
