New Delhi: An exhilarating eight-wicket haul by Aussie spinner Nathan Lyon brightened up the visitors, as their flag waved with the spirit of dominance on the first day of second Test against India.
While the home side was once again left awestruck by the Australians, veteran Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh was all praise about the offie.
The confident Indian side that hoped to overturn their Pune misery, were yet again left dumbstruck by Aussie spin spell. But, this time it was their experienced bowler Nathan Lyon who scalped 8/50.
Harbhajan, who had criticised O’Keefe’s 12-wicket haul claiming Pune pitch helped the Aussie spinner, went on to applaud the 29-year-old’s performance on social media. He also desires to see India’s spin combo of Ashwin-Jadeja to create a similar magic on Chinnaswamy track.

For the home side, opener KL Rahul battled till the end before succumbing to Lyon scoring. India managed only 189, following which both David Warner and Matthew Renshaw took off the Aussies to a promising start.
