Ind vs Aus: Twitter errupts with opinions as Australia end India's 19 match unbeaten run

New Delhi: Virat Kohli and Co. suffered their first defeat in a Test match after 12th August 2015, as Australia beat India by 333 runs within 3 days of the first test of the 2017 Border – Gavaskar Trophy.

This was Kohli’s first defeat as a Test captain which was stitched together by a brilliant performance by Steve O’Keefe who took 6 wickets in both the innings.

For the visitors, it was their first win after 9 lost or drawn Test matches in Asia.

Former cricketers like Sourav Ganguly and Harbhajan Singh had predicted India would win 4-0 against Australia and continue with their unbeaten run, but the pitch conditions changed everything for India.

This is how Twitter reacted to Australia’s dominant performance:-

Former Aussie wicketkeeper batsman Adam Gilchrist gave some good advice to the team.

Aust, you beauty! Celebrate like there is no tomorrow. Then tomorrow, start focusing on the next one. @CricketAus
