Jaggi’s unbeaten knock of 51 against Central Zone together with a 51-ball 90 against South Zone is considered to be the prime reason behind his inclusion. From the three games he has played in the tournament, he averages 74 with a strike rate of 155.78, which will interest many potential franchises and considering the fact that he would be a local buy, the interest could even intensify.

Jaggi also had an enjoyable Ranji Trophy as Jharkhand entered semi-finals of the tournament. He scored 890 runs from 10 games at an average of 59.33 with four centuries to finish as his sides top run-getter.

The opening batsman would particularly suit teams like ings XI Punjab who have had problems with their opening pairing in the past seasons.
