Cricketer Virender Sehwag, who is known for his witty comments on Twitter, said his tweets gets so much attention because he speaks his heart out, and is not afraid of anybody.
Speaking at Hindustan Times Palate Fest and Hindustan Times Imagine Fest 2017 at Nehru Park in Chanakyapuri, the veteran opener said, “Now there is no fear, no BCCI, no match referees to deduct fees or put a (match) ban from playing. Twitter is my field, so I enjoy writing about people here,” he said.
When asked about his favourite Twitter trolls, the cricketer said he enjoyed trolling as he could not tolerate anything spoken “against” India.
The war of words between them had started after Morgan said it was shameful that a country with over one billion population was celebrating so much after winning just two Olympic medals. Sehwag responded to Morgan, tweeting how shameful it was that England gave birth to cricket but never won a Cricket World Cup.

Talking about how he dealt with pressures whenever he was out of form or dropped from Indian Cricket team, Sehwag said he used to pull himself back from the game and devote his attention to movies and giving time to family members.
“Sometimes, we should not try too hard. When I was dropped from Indian Cricket team, I never used to practice cricket. I knew I needed to relax a bit to get my momentum back and it used to work,” he said.

Sehwag, who holds the distinction of being one of four batsmen in the world to have ever surpassed 300 twice in Test cricket, said, “When I was dropped in 2013, I thought I will be able to make a comeback and play till 2015 but it didn’t happen.” He added that he is enjoying his job as a commentator.
When someone from the audience asked him about his favourite captain, he named Saurav Ganguly as the top in the league. He said he is hopeful that Virat Kohli will break all the records of former Indian team captain MS Dhoni.
The Najafgarh Nawab said Muttiah Muralitharan was one bowler he feared most. “It was difficult playing him, both due to his bowling action and his length.”
