The Northern Warriors led by Darren Sammy and sponsored by ZEE5 will be looking to extract revenge against the Pakhtoons when the two sides battle it out in the finals of the T10 Cricket League at Sharjah on Sunday.
The Pakhtoons had previously recorded a 13-run win in the semifinals on the back of a clinical performance by skipper Shahid Afridi, against the same opposition.
Afridi smashed 59 runs off 17 deliveries in a knock comprising of three boundaries and seven sixes, leading the side on to a total of 135.
The Northern Warriors were restricted to a score of 122/4, following tidy bowling spells by Pakistani pace bowlers- Mohammad Irfan and Sohail Khan.
However, they managed to earn a spot in the final on the back of a 10-wicket win over Maratha Arabians in the Eliminator 2.
The final will start at 9.30 pm IST.
