Having already lost the five match ODI series against South Africa, the Sri Lankan cricket team will play for pride in the fourth match at Palleke on Wednesday. After winning the Test series in handy fashion, the hosts have struggled to replicate that form in the shorter version of the game. The form of key players has been under the scanner and the fact that players like Danushka Gunathilaka and Dinesh Chandimal are currently unavailable for selection only makes things worse. On the other hand, South Africa have looked dominant and even the absence of regular skipper Faf du Plessis for the remainder of the tour seems unlikely to stop their momentum.
