UP Yoddha edge out Patna Pirates in Pro Kabaddi League clash

UP Yoddha edged out Patna Pirates 46-41 in a tight Pro Kabaddi League match in Ranchi on Thursday evening.

In a match dominated by raiders, UP Yoddha managed to sneak ahead in the early exchanges and continued to hold their lead for the rest of the match.

Nitin Tomar of the winning team was he star of the night, bringing home 16 raid points, as Patna Pirates struggled to get going at a venue where they have dominated this season.

UP Yoddha were boosted by two all outs, while Patna Pirates could manage only one.

The win takes the UP side’s point tally to 43 from 16 points, leaving them third in Zone B.

Patna, on the other hand, remain top in Zone B with 60 points from 17 matches.
