In a heart-wrenching video, a BSF jawan, Tej Bhahadur Yadav, has drawn PM Narendra Modi’s attention towards the plight of the brave jawans who defend the border against enemy aggression day in day out.

The video, based on the condition of BSF jawans in the cold, hilly terrain in the northern part of the country, has gone viral on social media.

Yadav blamed some officers for the poor quality of the food served at their camps. He said poor jawans had no other way left than to eat stale rotis and dal served to them without turmeric and other spices at their camps.

Yadav has alleged, “Government may change but our situation doesn’t change… We stand in the snow for 11 hours… even if we feel hungry and sleepy.”

“I may not be here after this video goes viral,” he said in the video.

However, PK Mishra, Former ADG, BSF, brushed aside jawan’s allegations. “There is no shortage of food supply at the location,” he told CNN-News18.

The BSF also tweeted on Yadav’s video. The paramilitary force said, “BSF is highly sensitive to the welfare of troops. Individual aberrations, if any, are inquired into. A senior officer has already reached the location.”
