Farm Protest: Punjab Farmer Killed In Haryana Police ‘Firing’, What We Know

The claims however was denied by the Haryana Police who also took to their official X account on Tuesday and said that that ‘no farmer has died on the borders today’

As the farmers protest at the borders of the national capital is currently underway, in a latest development from the Khannauri border, a 24-year old farmer was shot dead by the Haryana police on Tuesday, as claimed by Congress MLA and Chairman of All India Kissan Congress Sukhpal Singh Khaira.

Taking to X, Khaira said extended his condolences to the family of the deceased farmer who was allegedly shot by the Haryana police. The 24-year old from Punjab’s Bathinda was identified as Shubkaran, son of Charanjit Singh.

He further wrote on the social media platform, “This is matter of grave concern and at the same time shame for @BhagwantMann for being a mute spectator to blatant intrusion by Haryana police into Punjab territory injuring over 200 farmers and killing this youth.”

The claims however was denied by the Haryana Police who also took to their official X account on Tuesday and said that that ‘no farmer has died on the borders today’.
