Delhi Road Rage: SUV Tries to Run Over Group Over Rs 5 Dispute

A disturbing video circulating on social media captures an SUV attempting to run over a group of people near Delhi’s Signature Bridge, escalating from a dispute over the non-payment of Rs 5. The footage shows the vehicle swerving towards individuals on the roadside, prompting concerns about road rage. According to the police, the dispute originated when the complainant, Ram Chand, a Pakistani Hindu residing in a refugee camp near the bridge, asked two boys in the car for Rs 5 after providing them with water.
The refusal led to an altercation and assault. Although Chand was taken to the hospital, no visible injuries were found. A case of criminal assault and rash driving has been registered against the occupants of the Mahindra Nuvosport SUV, registered in the name of Mohd Habib of Bhajanpura. Authorities are actively tracing the vehicle and its occupants.
