Denied To Have Sex, MP Man Stabs His Live-in Partner To Death With Scissors

The accused allegedly got furious when the victim refused to have physical relations with him and thereby stabbed her in the neck with a pair of scissors, police said

A man was arrested in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore on Wednesday for allegedly stabbing his 20-year-old live-in partner, who refused to have physical relations with him.

Police said that the victim and the accused, who became friends on Instagram were living together in a rented house in the city for the last few days.

In connection to the incident, additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhinay Vishwakarma told reporters that the woman was killed on December 7 in the rented house in which they lived in the Raoji Bazaar area. However, her body was found by the police officials, two days later on December 9.

The additional DCP further said that the accused, 24-year-old Praveen Singh hails from MP’s Guna district.

He allegedly got furious when the victim refused to have physical relations with him and thereby stabbed her in the neck with a pair of scissors, police added.

On being stabbed, the woman started bleeding profusely and died on the spot, The police officer further said that the accused panicked and fled after locking the house from outside and also took away her mobile phone.

After the murder came to light, Dhakad was tracked and arrested, he added.
