In a horrific incident reported from Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow, a woman was allegedly gang-raped by three men in a car parked outside the hospital where she was receiving treatment for some illness.

According to an NDTV report, one of the accused ran a tea stall outside King George’s Medical University (KGMU), where the victim was getting treatment for some illness.

The police said that the girl and one of the accused, Satyam, the owner of a tea stall got acquainted after they met over tea.

At the time of the crime during one of their meetings, Satyam called the victim inside a parked car to help him with charging his phone. The car was parked right in front of the hospital, the police said.

The police further said that the men allegedly raped the victim and after the crime, the accused dumped her on the road. The matter is being investigated and the police are questioning the accused.

Earlier in September, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and gang-raped in a moving car in UP’s Kushinagar district. Police arrested three men, all neighbours of the family, based on a name complaint by the survivor’s father.

The alleged crime took place on September 9 when one of the accused called the girl to clean a cow shelter.

According to the girl’s testimony, the accused took her to a shanty at knifepoint and forced himself upon her, after which his two aides reached the spot and abducted her in a car.

They then allegedly took turns to rape the woman and dumped her outside the house in an unconscious state, the survivor said in her FIR.
