Cyclone Michaung: Rain Subsides In Chennai; Airport Ops Back On Track

After creating havoc for over 40 hours in parts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, cyclonic storm Michaung is poised for landfall by Andhra Pradesh’s Bapatla coast in forenoon on Tuesday. The rain subsided in Chennai, bringing relief to residents from severe waterlogging and power outages.

The water in most parts of the city has receded, including the Chennai International Airport.
