Sawai Madhopur Election Result 2023 Live Updates: BJP’s Kirodi Lal Won With Margin Of 22510 Votes

New Delhi: The Sawai Madhopur Assembly constituency, situated in the Sawai Madhopur district, is among the 200 constituencies slated for the 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly elections. On November 25, voters in the Sawai Madhopur Assembly segment exercised their voting rights, and the results are scheduled to be announced on December 3.Out of the 200 seats in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, 34 are reserved for Scheduled Castes (SCs), and 25 for Scheduled Tribes (STs).

The upcoming 2023 Rajasthan Assembly elections are anticipated to be a head-to-head competition between the ruling Indian National Congress (INC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with several regional and smaller parties vying to make their mark.

VOTE COUNT UPDATES: 

18:13 PM: Kirodi Lal has won the election with a huge vote margin of 22,510 votes. Kirodi Lal mint 81087 votes from Sawai Madhopur seat while his rival Danish Abrar bagged 58,577 votes.

16:10 PM: In 17th round of counting, Kirodi Lal still in lead with 23077 votes against Danish Abrar.

14: 53 PM: The people of Rajasthan have continued their tradition of changing the ruling government in every election. This election too, commoners continued this tradition.  In 14th round Kirodi Lal still leading with 22198 votes against Danish Abrar.

13: 32 PM:  As the 12th round begins, Kirodi Lal still in lead with 16148 votes against Danish Abrar.

12: 26 PM: In seventh round of voting Kirodi Lal, central union minister still leading with 7060 votes against Danish Abrar.

11:16 AM : Kirodi Lal from Bharatiya Janata Party leading with 12275 votes while Danish Abrar trailing behind who has 8769 votes till now.

Previous Election Highlights

During the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly Elections, the Sawai Madhopur Assembly constituency recorded a voter turnout of 69.20%, with 162,790 valid votes cast out of the 235,186 registered voters.

Danish Abrar emerged victorious in the Sawai Madhopur Assembly constituency, defeating Asha Meena by a substantial margin of 25,199 votes. The winning candidate secured 15.50% more votes than the closest competitor.
