They’re Planning Something: Caller Informs Mumbai Police ‘2-3 Terrorists Entered Mankhurd’

Mumbai News: Just last week the PCR received a call threatening to kill PM Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath and also bomb JJ Hospital

Mumbai Police Control Room received a call on Sunday night where the caller claimed that two to three terrorists have arrived at Mankhurd’s Ekta Nahar.

The caller told the police that those people were planning something. Officials are investigating the matter.

The Mumbai police has witnessed a series of threat calls over the past few months.

PREVIOUS THREATS RECIEVED BY MUMBAI POLICE

November 21:

The Mumbai Police Control Room received a call late on November 20 threatening to kill prime minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and also bomb JJ Hospital.

The accused was later identified — Kamran Khan — and arrested by the police from Sion. During interrogation, the accused even claimed that he was associated with mafia leader Dawood Ibrahim.

November 15:

Mumbai Police received a threat on social media ahead of the ICC World Cup semi-final between India and New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium.

The threat was made over the microblogging site X, where an unidentified individual tagged Mumbai Police and shared photos depicting a gun, hand grenade, and bullets.

Mumbai Crime Branch detained a 17-year-old from Latur district in connection to the threat.

November 4:

A 19-year-old man was arrested from Telangana for allegedly sending multiple death threats to industrialist Mukesh Ambani. This came days after Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani received a threat email from an unidentified person seeking Rs 400 crore.

September 24:

Mumbai International Airport received a call, in which an unknown person threatened to blow up the airport. The caller said that there was a bomb inside a bag at the airport.

Airport officials soon informed the police about the call, after which a bomb squad team was sent there. However, nothing suspicious was found. Sources said that it was likely to be a hoax call.

September 5:

A female caller informed the Mumbai Police Control Room of the presence of a bomb at Nepean Sea Road in Colaba and asked them for help. Officials said that the same woman called the PCR 38 times so far and informed them about a bomb being planted.

Meanwhile, on the same day, another caller informed them of a bomb being planted in Kamathipura street no. 12.

September 1:

Mumbai Police received a threat call stating that two Pakistani citizens were planning to arrive in the city with the intention of blowing up the iconic Taj Hotel.
