Acting on a tip-off, the police monitored a residence on Halls Road, Kilpauk, confirming it as the hub for the illicit activities. A subsequent search led to Judi’s arrest, and four women were rescued from her custody.
The victims were relocated to a government home for women. Authorities are actively pursuing another accused involved in the case. Following an inquiry, Judi was presented before the court and subsequently placed in judicial custody.
