Hyderabad: Couple End Lives After Hanging 4-yr-old Daughter in Suicide Pact, Write 3 Names on Wall

In a shocking incident from Hyderabad, a young couple ended their lives after hanging their four-year-old daughter in a suicide pact at their house in Warasiguda late on Thursday night.

The victims, identified as 35-year-old K Sai Krishna and his wife, 30-year-old Chithralekha along with their daughter Tejaswini were found hanging by cops after they broke down the door of their house in Gangaputra colony on Friday morning.

According to a TOI report, the house owner had tried to call the couple on Thursday night to complain of the loud sound from their TV but they did not respond.

On Friday morning too, he heard the TV sound and after failing to reach them on their phones, he knocked on their door but to no avail. It was then he decided to call the police, who reached the house and forced open the door to find the bodies.

The couple, who was unemployed, had written the names of three people on the wall and blamed them for their actions. No reason, however, was mentioned for the suicide concerning those names.

Police said the three names written on the wall were of employees of a group that held a science exhibition where Chitralekha had earlier worked. Krishna, on the other hand, worked as a cab driver till recently.

“The couple have been unemployed for some time. Financial reason is suspected to be the reason behind their extreme step,” a police official was quoted by TOI as saying.

Police have registered a case and an investigation is underway.
