Patidar quota agitation leader Hardik Patel has been arrested en route to Mandsaur district in Madhya Pradesh where seven farmers died in police firing last week. Five of them were from the Patidar community. His arrest came as another debt-ridden farmer killed himself in the Seoni Malwa town of Malwa region, taking the suicide count to three in 24 hours.
