Arjun Singh joins BJP: In 2020, he was appointed the Vice-President of BJP’s West Bengal unit.
Arjun Singh, the Bharatiya Janata Party Lok Sabha MP from West Bengal’s Barrackpore, has joined the Trinamool Congress. In the 2019 general election, Singh had defeated Professor Debdoot Sheet.
Singh was a Trinamool Congress leader before he joined the BJP. He had won the Bhatpara assembly seat four times on TMC ticket since 2001.
In 2020, he was appointed the Vice-President of BJP’s West Bengal unit.
