Certain neighbourhoods in the city will face a power cut from 9 am to 4 pm for maintenance work on Monday, October 4.
Parts of Chennai will face a power cut from 9 am to 4 pm on Monday, October 4, due to maintenance work, the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) said on Monday. If the work is completed before 4 pm in some neighbourhoods, then the power will be restored in those parts. As per TANGEDCO’s press release, this is the full list of neighbourhoods that are going to be affected.
In Taramani, OMR, Nehru street, Sholinganallur Devaraj nagar Anna street, Parts of Anna Nedujchalai, Telephone nagar, Kurinji Nagar, Rajalakshmi avenue, Annai Sathya Nagar and Nethaji nagar.
In Ennore, Nehru Nagar, Anna Nagar, Kathivakkam, , Kattukuppam, Ennore Bazzar, Ennore Kuppam, Eravanoor Kuppam, Kamaraj nagar, SVM nagar, VOC nagar, Thaazhankuppam, ETPS vaariya kudiiruppu paguthi and above surrounding areas.
In Guindy, there notified neighbourhoods are Madipakkam Govindasamy street, Sadasivam Nagar 4th street, Rajaji Nagar, Dharmaraja koil street, MKN Road, Rajeswari Nagar Alandur Jai street, MKN road and surrounding areas.
GNT road, Sholavaram, Orakkadu road, Mahalakshmi nagar, Kottaimedu and surrounding areas in Southuperembedu. And finally, TH Road, Ponnusamy streetC Govindharaj street, Dhanapal street,
Tondiarpet Tolgate: T.H Road part, Ponnusamy st, Govindharaj st, Dhanapal nagar, AE Koil street, Veeraragavan Road and above surrounding areas.
