Three CRPF Personnel Injured in Naxal Attack in Gadchiroli

Gadchiroli: Three CRPF personnel were injured in an attack allegedly carried out by Naxals on Wednesday in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra. There was no report of any casualty in what was supposedly an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast.

A joint team of Maharashtra police and CRPF was patrolling in the region when the blast occurred. The injured in the attack have been moved to safety, Maharashtra police said. The incident took place when the mine-protected vehicle (MPV) the CRPF jawans were travelling in came under naxal attack in Gadchiroli district.

This attack came days after twenty-five CRPF personnel were killed in a Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district.
