Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021: Do not put pressure on students, says PM Modi – Key updates

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is interacting with students, teachers and parents all over the world in the fourth edition of the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2021’ discussion on examinations.

The much-awaited interaction, which aims to boost the morale and confidence of students, is live on all social media handles of the prime minister and PMO India from 7 pm onwards. Forced by the pandemic, this is the first time that the event is being held in a virtual mode.

‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ is an event where the Prime Minister responds to questions related to examination stress and related areas posed by students in his uniquely engaging style in a live programme.

“A new format, several interesting questions on a wide range of subjects and a memorable discussion with our brave #ExamWarriors, parents and teachers. Watch ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ at 7 PM on 7th April…,” the Prime Minister had tweeted earlier.

Over 14 lakh students, teachers, and parents have registered for the event this year. This year, students and academicians from abroad have also participated in the event.

Key updates from PM Modi’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ interaction-

1. Yeh Pariksha Pe Charcha hai par sirf Pariksha Ki Charcha Nahi. This is a discussion on exams but not only about exams, says PM as he starts conversing with students in the fourth annual edition.

2. PM Modi said children should not be pressured by parents, teachers, relatives and others, so that they can give exams without any pressure.

If we decrease the outside pressure on students, their fear of exams will also be reduced, said Prime Minister Modi. He asked parents to recognize the caliber of their children and focus on their strengths.

3. “Free time should not be wasted, it is a treasure, an opportunity. In your daily lifestyle, you should have some free time otherwise your life becomes robotic,” said PM Modi.
