Four Held in Bhopal With Rs 2 Lakh Fake Currency

Bhopal: Four people were arrested in Bhopal on Thursday night with fake currency of Rs 2 lakh face value.

The gang was running the racket from a photo studio.

Police said 32-year-old Faheem Queshi, a resident of Qazi Camp area, was found in possession of 75 fake currency notes of Rs 2000 denomination.

Qureshi told police about Danish Ali, who was arrested from Budhwara area of the city.

Fifteen fake notes of Rs 2000 denomination were recovered from him.

Later, police also arrested Wasim Sheikh and Jitendra alias Jitu who worked with Ali.

Police said Ali is the kingpin of the racket and they are trying to find out if the gang was supplying fake currency to other parts of the country.
