Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing a crowd of 10 lakh people at BJP’s ‘Parivartan Maha Rally’ in Lucknow on Monday. The massive crowd has been brought in by 15,000 buses and 35,000 other vehicles for what is being tipped as the biggest political rally by the Prime Minister in a long time.
If the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) manages the numbers, Modi’s rally at the Ramabai Ambedkar grounds could give a ‘psychological edge’ over the main opposition party in Uttar Pradesh — the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) led by four-time chief minister Mayawati.

1.00 PM: Large crowd builds up ahead of PM Narendra Modi’s arrival at Lucknow’s Ramabai Ambedkar Ground. The ground came up during BSP tenure and only BSP chief Mayawati has been able to fill these grounds so far. The impressive swell in numbers ahead of Modi”s arrival have got BJP leaders happy who have started challenging Mayawati from the stage saying the crowd is an indication of the things to come.
