As COVID-19 cases rise, Bengaluru to go into complete lockdown from July 14

The BS Yediyurappa-led Karnataka state government on Saturday announced that Bengaluru will go into complete lockdown from 8 PM on July 14 to 5 AM on July 22 in view of the rising number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases. Only essential services will be exempted, clarified the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on this day.

As the pandemic outbreak continues to spread like wildfire, the complete lockdown was announced in the urban and rural districts in Bengaluru.
