DCGI Warns States And UTs On Black Marketing Of COVID-19 Drug, Remdesivir

Central drugs regulator have raised concerns on receiving complaints that certain unscrupulous persons were indulging in black marketing and overpricing of the drug. The warning comes from a media platform LocalCircles which reported that Remdesivir is being sold at a price between Rs 15,000 to Rs 60,000, whereas the Maximum Retail Price of Remdesivir is Rs 5,400.
