Former DMK party member V.P. Duraisamy on Friday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) a day after being removed from the post of Deputy General Secretary.
He joined the BJP in the presence of Tamil Nadu BJP President L Murugan and senior leader La Ganesan.
It happened a day after MK President MK Stalin announced the removal of VP Duraisamy for the aforementioned post on Thursday. He was replaced by Rajya Sabha member Anthiyur Selvaraj.
“Former DMK Deputy General Secretary VP DuraiSamy joined BJP in the presence of his supporters in the presence of party state president Dr Sri L Murugan and senior BJP leader LK Ganesan,” the Twitter handle of Tamil Nadu BJP shared the news.
