Srinagar: An army jawan carrying two live grenades has been arrested by the police at the Srinagar airport.
The soldier, who reportedly belongs to Darjeeling, was taken to Humhama police station for further investigation.
Reacting to the arrest, former chief minister Omar Abdullah said on Twitter that the case “tells a wider story of the problem of unaccounted weapons & ammo”.
