J&K: Two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists arrested with incriminating material in Sopore

Two overground workers of the terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) have been arrested security personnel in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K)’s Sopore after a joint operation conducted by the Indian Army, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the J&K police.

The security personnel also recovered incriminating material from the terrorists, a statement by the Sopore police informed on Friday.

“The joint operation was conducted by 22 Rashtriya Rifles, Special Operations Group (SOG), Sopore and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF),” said SP, Sopore.

According to the police, the arrested individuals were involved in providing logistics support to the LeT operatives in Kashmir.

An FIR has been registered in this regard and the investigation is underway.
