Rohan Murty to marry Aparna Krishnan in Bengaluru

Rohan Murty, the son of Infosys founder Narayana Murthy is set to marry Aparna Krishnan quite soon, according to an exclusive report in Economic Times.
Thirty-six-year-old Rohan and Aparna are set to take their wedding vows on December 2 in Bengaluru. The couple have reportedly known each other for about three years, and met through a mutual friend.
Aparna is the daughter to Savithri Krishna, retired SBI employee and Commander KR Krishnan, who served in the Indian Navy. A resident of Bengaluru, she reportedly went to Leser B Pearson United World College of the Pacific in Canada, and then graduated in economics from Dartmouth College. She also studied political science in London School of Economics.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Aparna has worked in Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Sequoia Capital and has been working at Soroco, a computer software company founded in 2014 by Rohan, as the Engagement Manager from April 2017.
Rohan holds a PhD in computer science from Harvard University on ‘Opportunistic Wireless Network Architectures’ and is the founder a company called Soroco that uses algorithms and does away with human intervention in certain processes. He is also founder of the Murty Classical Library of India.
Rohan and Aparna will marry in a simple ceremony with close family and friends. They will then have a wedding reception later in the evening in Bengaluru.
Rohan was earlier married to Lakshmi Venu, daughter of business moguls Venu Sreenivasan of the TVS group (Sundaram-Clayton group) and Mallika Sreenivasan, Chairperson and CEO of Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited. The duo married in 2011 and ended their marriage formally in 2015. Lakshmi Venu is the joint managing director of Sundaram-Clayton group.
