Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who turns 69 on Tuesday, met his mother in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar to seek her blessings.
The Prime Minister spent his birthday in his home state Gujarat, where he visited Sardar Sarovar Dam in Kevadia. Before that, the Prime Minister shared a video of the Statue of Unity in Kevadia of Narmada district. Modi had inaugurated the statue, billed as the tallest in the world, on the birth anniversary of India’ first home minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s on October 31 last year.
“Have a look at the majestic ‘Statue of Unity’, India’s tribute to the great Sardar Patel,” PM Modi tweeted along with a 1:30-minute video.
