The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Pakistan’s Punjab Police arrested 26/11 Mumbai terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed on Wednesday in connection with terror financing case.
Saeed, the globally listed terrorist, was enroute to Gujranwala from Lahore, when he was intercepted by the authorities.
The co-founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and the chief of Jama’at-ud-Da’wah (JuD) will now be sent to judicial remand.
The Indian Government has taken notice of this development, sources told Zee Media.
