Days after the country-wide National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) results were announced, applications to MBBS and BDS courses in Tamil Nadu went online on Friday. Online applications are a first for the state with the government inviting applications for courses falling under the state’s quota in government colleges and self-financing medical colleges affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University.

Students should be 17 by the time of admission or complete 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the admission year. Information kiosks to answer queries and help students fill up forms have reportedly been set up in government medical colleges including the Madras Medical College.
